Home Alone! Never seen a water bird nest in such an open space. Wonder how the chicks were brought up with predators all around. This dead coconut tree was close to the bank of a lake. There were no other trees around. The nearest tree was probably around 50 feet from it. There were total 3 chicks and they were being fed by their parent!
