Short-stemmed Russula

Russula brevipes

Description:

This mushroom was about one inch tall and two inches wide. Its was completely white except fro the middle of the cap, which was brown. It had gills and a depressed shape cap.

Habitat:

Some dirt in the forest.

Notes:

Found this while hiking to Grotto Falls.
