Luria lurida
"Smooth and shining like porcelain, this beautiful Brown Cowry (Luria lurida) is our Spotting of the Day! Cowries are marine gastropod mollusks in the family Cypraeidae. Luria lurida is found in the Mediterranean Sea as well as along West Africa. This species is carnivorous and feeds on sponges. This spotting was made at night, when the cowry spreads its mantle over its shell, cleaning and polishing it. Check it out!" Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/projectnoah/pho...... Es durante la noche cuando extiende su manto negro sobre la concha, limpiándolo y abrillantándolo.
