Common Wolf Snake

Lycodon capucinus

Description:

My 800th spotting! This juvenile snake was found in my friend's room. My other friend also spotted another one in his room the day after! It's hatching season I guess..

Habitat:

Suburban area, grassland

Notes:

update: It was my 800th spotting, but I deleted some of my earlier spottings, so this is not my 800th spotting anymore, sorry for that..

Congratulations, Jason. Interestingly I (and others) observed this species to become established as an invasive in Sentani, the airport town for the capital of Papua Province, Jayapura. I suppose it could have also made its way by ship to the province. Here's my spotting http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/851...
