Description:

ladybird,about 8mm long, each wing has 6 big black spots on orange background,abdomen orange as can be glimpsed in photo 5

Habitat:

sub tropical bushveld, in a patch of weeds by the cattle pens

Notes:

another near victim of the horrid velcro grass. Photos 3 & 5 while it was still stuck to the grass and photo 4 after it was extracted showing some of the barbed fragments of grass still attached. Photos 1 & 2 were after its release
