Bloom color: Orange-red with yellow corona. Attracts: Bees, butterflies and other insects. Host Plant to: The Monarch butterfly, Queen butterfly & Soldier butterfly.
Light: Full Sun. Water: Average - Dry. Uses: Native gardens, butterfly gardens, native restoration.
A small patch observed growing wild along the El Tuito River.
