Pancratium maritimum
Lots of these scattered around the dunes, mostly singly, a few grass-blade type leaves and a stalk with what appears to be a bunch of seed heads. This one about 15cm tall, some others bigger.

Using the information you gave I have been able to pin this down to Pancratium maritimum, with Common names of Sea Daffodil, Sand Lily or Lily of St. Nicholas.
