Kallima horsfieldi
Family: Nymphalidae Wingspan from 85-110mm, this individual was measured at 90mm. This butterfly looks like a dry leaf on the underside, and is easily camouflaged on the ground or on the tree trunk. Fond of overripe fruit, and is a rather wary butterfly that is difficult to approach.
This specimen was found in a forest area near to water.
