Spotting

Description:

this is only the top view, it has orange spots on the top around what appear to be two openings. the top is a dark mat which rests on top of a gelatinous and mostly transparent base covered with black/dark specks.

Habitat:

found attached to a rock in kane'ohe bay, Oahu in less than one foot of water approximately 10 meters off shore.

Notes:

cannot find it in any of my species guides. possibly tunicate.
