Spotting

Description:

Whorled leaf pattern with thin needle like compound blades. Found on the right of the trail approximately 100 yards from cut back. Signs of ant predation and phototropism

Habitat:

Compact soil in tecolote canyon with exposure to direct sunlight. Growing among several distinct species

Notes:

Needle like blades suggest adaption to dry environments. Phototropism suggests competition for sunlight among species. No evidence of predation suggesting either commensalism or mutual symbiosis with ants Partners: Alex Victoria Time: 1230pm sunny with partial clouds
