A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Crotalus adamanteus
Largest of all rattlesnake in North America. This snake was found on the side of the road, gathering heat of the sun. Many species of snake do this when the sun is going down. They gain heat from the asphalt.
My family and I were driving in the Everglades National Park, and my dad notices this guy laying near the road.
