A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Odocoileus virginianus
PLEASE READ Two fawns. My aunt and I have a license to raise baby wild animals who are orphans. Most of the calls she gets are, deer, raccoons, squirrels, and hawks. She has also had opossums, and more. I love watching the animals grow. We give them the best chance we can for survival on their own. Mothers have been killed by cars, guns, and sometimes humans take the fawns and then don't know what to do with them. When we let them go, all we can do is hope for the best, but it is good to know we gave them a second chance at life.

She even has Peacocks!
It is also very exciting and I have learned a lot!
It is such a great feeling to know I can make a difference in an animals life.
Thank you for what you do.
