Zonocerus variegatus variegatus
Grasshopper nymph
Found en masse infesting flowers of a small tree.
Crop pest
I see, thought they were two entirely different hoppers. Would you believe that I have a spotting of the adult as well? I'll put it up in no time.
Thanks viewers. Never mind the beautiful pest.
The Flickr help is good enough. Details for this particular species is species unlike details for its cousin http://www.flickr.com/photos/wildimages/....
If the link above is correct, than it should be Zonocerus elegans nymph.

Somehow I can't open the pictures in this link, maybe you can. Anyway you should verify yourself. Nymphs ar always very tricky to ID due to very few infos about and changing colors nd markings throughtout their different stages.

Note the main colors, stripes and spots on the legs etc., looks really not bad for Zonocerus elegans. What do you think?
