Large bee with a yellow strip across the top of the thorax and a yellow band around the abdomen. Size is large: Queen 21 - 25 mm Worker 14 - 18 mm Male 16 - 22 mm

Habitat:

On the first blooming larkspur in a wildlife habitat garden.

Notes:
