Eastern Screech Owl

Megascops Asio

Owl in an owl house. I will keep updating as the Spring Progresses. Here is a video of the owl waking up in the evening. I used bi-aural mics so if you have earphones on you will get the best effect.

This owl is one of two using an owl box I built in early 2012. It is hanging in a Camphor tree. Check out a real Screech Owl Box maker!

So cute I love owls

They are very elusive but I would look in large trees with open holes in them. Best to watch at dusk and look for them around and in the cavities.
