Spotting

Description:

Medium size, silvery white, has one markedly dark blue dot on the middle of each of all four wings, and golden yellow all around the margins. Wingspan: 42 mm.

Habitat:

Mixed forest of pines, cherry and bamboo. Cool to warm place. Altitude: 1,700 m.

Notes:

This moth had visited our terrace light. This is a rare moth for me, seeing this may be for the first time in the last 7 years. And it is beautiful. Unfortunately unable to place it under any family. My guess: it is a Geometer!
