But what I was also thinking is whether is possible that it reached such a far distant country? well the climate could be similar so it is not so unlikely...

Now that I think again maybe Zicrona caerulea is to bright apart being not found there, but here is another potential soulution: Euthyrhynchus floridanus

It really looks like this one although it is said that is found from Africa to north of Europe....
