Description:

Photo take in a jungle path i have seen this plant in many places in México and central America small bush whit spiny leafs it grow around 1 mt from the grown and has this lonely yellow flower on top. Maybe some cactus??

Habitat:

Tropical open area , Quintana Roo Mexico

Notes:

The Seri of Sonora, Mexico use the entire plant both fresh and dried. An infusion is made to relieve kidney pain, to help expel a torn placenta, and in general to help cleanse the body after parturition.
