Two-tailed spider

Hersilia sp. Family: Hersiliidae

Hersiliidae spiders are basically hunting spiders that do not build webs but ambush their prey. They are camouflaged against the tree trunks and barely visible to the eye unless they move. They are commonly called as two-tailed spiders due to their spinnerets which look like 2 tails.

Seen at Agumbe Rainforest.
