Vesper Sparrow

Pooecetes gramineus

Description:

One of the Common Sparrows found in this area in the grasslands. Initially i was confused whether it was Brewer's sparrow or Clay coloured sparrow . Had to look into their places to spotting to ID this. Please correct me if i am wrong

Habitat:

Feeds on Earthworms, seeds and larvae

Notes:

i was searching for the names of all Sparrows found in Mexico in http://www.world-birds.com/birds/a/mexic... and found out resemblance for 4-5 varieties. Had to look in https://www.hbw.com/species/clay-colored... to find the actual habitats of them . Finally had to rely on Marlin's ID app to close the ID to Vesper's Sparrow
