Carpodacus mexicanus
House finches are our most common visitor to our bird feeder. The males have brown wings and a brown tail [the tail has a reddish tint to it] The male also has a reddish-pink stomach and a short brown beak. His back also has a reddish tint. The female is all brown.

I have a feeder and love to watch my "pets". One time there was even a mouse and raccoon at the feeder.
