argiope aurantia
This is a spider, about 2 centimeters in length and width. It is a very active spider, constantly moving. It's body was black with bright green flecks and stripes on it. It legs were around 2 centimeters each in length.
It's web was in a place between two relatively small plants around 4-5 feet above the ground. This area receives a lot of sunlight and is clear view of all animals, birds, and insects. The web itself was around 6 inches in diameter.
