Description:

3 to 4 foot tall cactus with flat leaves and bright yellow flowers of 3 to 4 inches in diameter and red 3 to 4 inch fruit. Plant grows in large colonies of 10 to 15 feet in diameter.

Habitat:

Dry white sand "scrub habitat" desert.
