Hibiscus schizopetalus

Description:

This very pretty species of Hibiscus has very distinctive, frilly, finely divided petals. Its also known as a fringed Rosemallow and coral Hibiscus. As with all other Hibiscus the red is the most common but it does appear in a great range of colours.

Habitat:

seen in the gardens of the Blue waters inn Hotel, speyside Tobago although it is native to East Africa.
