Rainbow Lorikeet (eastern form)

Trichoglossus haematodus

Description:

25-30cm Large blue headed lorikeet with orange or red breast with a voice of a noisy screech.

Habitat:

Common in all forest, heath and woodland where blossoms occur in Northern and Eastern Australia from Broome WA to Kangaroo Island SA and introduced in South West in vicinity of Perth WA.

Notes:

Always ready to perform.
