AKA "Water Turkey", "Snake Bird", this bird is known for swimming with only the neck and head above water. It's feathers are not very water-proof, so they must roost after fishing and hold the wings open to let them dry. This lovely is a female, as shown by the buffy breast and head. Males are a lovely silver and black.

Along this 5 miles there are about 120 more smaller springs, forming the largest concentration of natural artesian springs. It is one of the most special places in Florida. Which has a LOT of special places!
