Green Shield Bug

Palomena prasina

Description:

Although this looks like the Southern Green Stink Bug it does not show signs of the black and white spots of that species at the edge of the Pronotum and is small at only 11mm long so I have opted for Palomena prasina.

Habitat:

Balcony, attracted from the surrounding countryside by night light.
Limestone outcrop in foothills of Los Serranos mountains.
