Description:

This is a common weed in Hawaii, also called honohono grass. It has very small periwinkle flowers (2.5 - 3 cm). The leaves are almond-shaped and have parallel venation.

Habitat:

Seen in the tropical rainforest of Rainbow Falls State Park, it is a pantropical plant.

Yes, Chester, they're only about 2.5-3 cm in size.

Looks like a species of Tradescantia, but not sure would know where to start. Are those flowers tiny as they appear?
