A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Commelina diffusa
This is a common weed in Hawaii, also called honohono grass. It has very small periwinkle flowers (2.5 - 3 cm). The leaves are almond-shaped and have parallel venation.
Seen in the tropical rainforest of Rainbow Falls State Park, it is a pantropical plant.
Looks like a species of Tradescantia, but not sure would know where to start. Are those flowers tiny as they appear?
