Ludwigia alternifolia
I never noticed this plant when it had yellow, four-petaled flowers. The fruit is distinctive: small box-like compartments filled with loose seeds. The fruit moves in the wind, and the seeds are dispersed like salt from a shaker.
The plant prefers wet soil.

I love these matter, seed dispersal.
I agree. I wonder how many times I've walked past this without noticing it.
Beautiful,
Thanks!
Very cool!
