Description:

1.5 - 6.5 mm. About the size of the head of a pin. Shape distinctive: oval to nearly spherical, strongly convex. capable of rolling into a ball. Black or brown shiny.

Habitat:

Leiodids occur under bark on dead trees in rotten wood, decaying vegetable matter and rotting fungi.
