Bold Jumping Spider

Phidippus audux

Description:

Black jumping spider. Somewhat large. This one is most likely female as it doesn't have a large first leg pair. Has a white "smiley face" marking on abdomen as well as strikingly iridescent green chelicera (fangs)

Habitat:

This was found on a parking garage door.

Notes:

These spiders are very friendly and can be handled without need for worry as long as you know the proper way to handle them
