Greater racket-tailed drongo

Dicrurus paradiseus

Description:

With shiny blue-black feathers and a spectacular tail, this is a medium sized bird about 30 cm long. Excellent mimic with many sounds. Closely mimics the sound of a cat's mew when it sees one nearby. Also sounds like many birds including the Shikra to scare other birds and steal their food. Fearless and mobs many large birds and cats.

Habitat:

Spotted in an abandoned plot of land..
