Grapevine beetle

This beetle was seen around a porch light resting for about 30 minutes. This beetle Scarabaeidae, and is known to damage of it's host plant, grape (Vitis). This beetle has blue eyes, with an yellow/orange body, with some black spots. It's front legs has sharp razor like appendages for burrowing in the ground if necessary.


In my garden at Porch Light in the night, Fort Worth, Texas.
