Red-breasted Sapsucker

Description:

Winter migrant. Thick yellowish bill, dark red head and chest. Body color is similar the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. Black wings with white edge of wing and black barring down back. Yellowish belly with gray spotted flanks.

Habitat:

This one spent most of it's time on a willow tree.
