This is unlikely to be one of the Megalopyge. The Megalopyge - and all of the Megalopygidae- are New World species, found in the Americas and adjacent New World tropics. They are not found in Asia.

This is one hairy caterpillar! Love how the black hairs become curly and blonde around the tip! Amazing find!
