Mollisia cinerea?
fruiting on the wood of a bird feeder (but not on the bark as far as I could see). The biggest were perhaps about 1mm or less. Inside the 'cup' part of the fruitbody, the individual fruitbodies ranged in colour from white to a light cream. This also was the case with the rest of the flesh and 'stem' but not with the white hairs you can see on the first photo. Lachnum virgineus (aka Dasyscyphus virgineus) Paul Sterry Collins guide says M cinerea has a greyish brown outer face that's smooth or finely downy whilst it says L. virgineus has a white or cream outer face that is covered in a thick white hairy mat? Hyaloscypha quercicola? A species in the group called 'hyaloscyphaceae': https://www.sites.google.com/site/funghi... Dermateaceae? https://www.sites.google.com/site/funghi...
cp i have a sample. location approx.
