Small desert pool
I saw this very small shorebird alongside a Killdeer in a small desert pool. You can see the yellowish legs in the second photo. The desert area north of the prison has proven to be an excellent for shy birds such as sparrows, thrashers, and the occasional shorebird.

Cool! They are definitley neat birds to see
