Description:

Sexes alike, streaked upper and lower parts give the bird a shaggy appearance. Rufous crown, long pointed rufus tail, black malar and moustachial stripes. common endemic . Lovely strong musical song.

Habitat:

Rank grassland and moist fynbos.
