Description:

Devil's-bit Scabious, is a native perennial, here with buff-tailed bumblebee (Bombus terrestris), growing 30-60 cm in height and produces spherical composite clusters of purpley-blue flowers which attract a wide variety of butterflies and bees.

Habitat:

Damp farmland.
