Description:

This wasp mimic is nearly an inch long with a yellow face, yellow and reddish brown ringed abdomen. The top of the "shoulders" have a large black spot covering both sides of the top with a border of yellow. The wings are dark.

Habitat:

This individual was found sitting on a dead stem of a plant in a large overgrown field.

Notes:

This was another first. The first and only one I've ever seen. Cool.
