Tiger beetles are a large group of beetles known for their aggressive predatory habits and running speed. The fastest species of tiger beetle can run at a speed of 9 km/h (5.6 mph), or about 53.87 body lengths per second.[1] As of 2005, about 2,600 species and subspecies were known, with the richest diversity in the Oriental (Indo-Malayan) region, followed by the Neotropics Source: Wikipedia

Beautiful shots MokYounFai! If the two images were taken at different locations and times, they constitute two different observations and should be separated in two spottings.

Dou you have other pictures of it?With only a frontal, although a very nice and impressive one, we cannot ID a beetle. We would ne at least a complete shot from the top and from the side if available.
