Augur Buzzard

Buteo augur

Description:

This large Buzzard seemed to be tormenting us as it would land right at the side of the jeep then just before we focussed on him it did a short little fly/hop a bit further along so we all tried to refocus and again a short fly/hop to a different patch of grass, after about 6 attempts i finally got one shot of it before it changed its mind again. It wasnt a massive bird but about 60cm long.

Habitat:

Seen in the Ngorongoro crater, Tanzania
