Asian House Gecko

Hemidactylus frenatus

Description:

This is an Asian House Gecko that i found on the wall of my house. This gecko is brownish in color, and the upper surfaces of the body are covered with small granules. The size of this gecko is about 7 cm in length. It is a nocturnal animal, and it often seen running along walls, in search of moths and other insects.

Habitat:

- Spotted on the wall of my house. Usually, it can be found around the house and man-made structures.

Notes:

- This gecko is from the Gekkonidae family. It is native to a large area of Asia, extending from southern India to Indonesia.
