Bombycilla cedrorum
Small waxwing, red-brown upperparts, pale slate-gray rump, buff underparts. Head is crested, has black mask with narrow white band below. Yellow-tipped tail, white undertail coverts. Wings have red wax-like tips on secondaries from which it gets its name. Black bill, legs and feet.
Wildlife habitat yard on Belton Lake.
I was watering in some new plants on the hill below our house, which left the trees with water droplets hanging on them. This flock of Cedar Waxwings flew in and, taking advantage of the water, began drinking the droplets off the branches.

Amazing birds!
Spring is on the "way"~ and, the Birds are certainly, aware~ Get your bird feeders full of tasty treats(seed). I do this out of habit year around(Maternal flare)
