This spider seems to be doing just fine with a missing leg. Spotted in Vang Vieng, Laos (valley in the mountains). I know nothing about spiders, but a Google search seems to point to the Nephila pilipes (http://indiantetragnathidae.blogspot.com...) ? One of the largest spiders in the world
