Sergiolus capulatus --- saw one of these interesting spiders while cleaning under my bed after being bitten frequently at night (1-2 times per week) for several months. The bites were itchy and would cause large welts or hives on my skin. After ridding my room of this spider in June 2014, I've not been bitten since!

I can't find a better match.
Chun,I did not see any spinnerets and the location is the West coast.
Sergiolus capulatus is a better match, recorded from eastern USA & southeastern Canada
does not seem to be a jumping spider.
J,true .Looks like "Callilepis nocturna," Cannnot see the spinnerets though!
