A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Eumyias thalassinus
An old world flycatcher found in the Indian subcontinent. It is a copper-sulphate blue.
Western Himalayas.
The 2nd picture is unclear as it was raining and I was behind a window pane. Shall try again.

If that's the case I am glad not to be able to find it. :)
Maybe the nest is hidden from the predators and not visible :-)
Thanks duttagupta35504. Thanks Satyen. It was on my wishlist too until I clicked it. :) We have grown up watching these birds and their chicks in nest. The adults used to peck at mongoose and cats to keep them away from the nest. Now I only see the birds and can't find the nest. They have shifted to a new place.
Beautiful.
Wow! This one is on my wish list :-)
Thank you, Muckpuk. Most of the birds I have here visit my garden.
Another gorgeous bird. Lucky you! Are they all in your garden?
Thank you, J.
What a lovely bird! Wonderful shot!
