Silk Oak Tree

Grevillea robusta

Description:

These seemed to maybe be part of the leaves, maybe the flower of the leaves. The were grown plat in the middle of the bush of straight, long leaves. These were very interesting because the leaves moved to the side while the whole structure was in the middle with it's own roots. The roots were brown in color. Each little stub was about 2 inches in height. They had about 3 to 4 branches per bundle. These had white pods, the pods had a pale egg shell color. They had a brown dot in the middle of the pod. The stems of these pods all went down to the center and was connected to the center root system.

Habitat:

These had many multiple ones in a whole big patch. They were grown from the ground, very low on the ground. The soil was wet and soggy. But harder than mud. They were completely exposed to sunlight. In this place, it' rains 5-7 times a week. There is a lot of sunlight and rain on these plants.
