They are round about 10" (25cm) long, similar size to a Blackbird or Flicker. The crabs that I saw in Borneo ranged from around 5mm across the shell up to perhaps 10cm across the shell. I guess they will take whatever they think they can swallow whole!

This must be a big King Fisher. The crab looks so small.
