Green Stink Bug

Loxa flavicollis


Medium sized insect. Somewhat soft body, vibrant green with blue eyes. Two horns near the shoulders.


I found this one where it must have unknowingly wandered onto a boat. Most likely near trees or bushes.


Diet: Herbivorous, in Florida, they prefer orange trees. * The common name may refer to a wide variety of stink bugs, I suggest that its safer to use its scientific name if you want to address this specific species.
